JON M. HANSEN – President and Chief Investment Officer

Jon M. Hansen is the President and founder of Newport Private Capital LLC. He founded the firm in 2004. Mr. Hansen is responsible for all trading decisions of the firm. Mr. Hansen has been in the investment management industry since 1992. He has managed or co-managed several successful investment partnerships starting in 1998. From September 2000 to October 2006, he was the president of Springboard Securities Inc., a registered broker dealer. From October 2001 to August 2005, Mr. Hansen was president of Springboard Capital Management, LLC (formerly Springboard Planning & Advisory Group, Inc.), an investment adviser that at the time was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission and managed approximately $100M in assets, primarily in mutual funds and variable insurance product sub-accounts, Mr. Hansen’s primary expertise is in understanding and applying technical analysis with market generated information to make management decisions for his clients’ accounts and private investment funds. He has been trading derivatives on the S&P 500 since 1997 personally as well as for his clients. He has designed and managed several trading programs over the last 10 years including the Optimum Income program.

JEREMIE D. MCKEE – Analyst

Mr. McKee graduated with a degree in Statistics/Finance from Brigham Young University in 1998. He began his career in the financial services industry as a registered representative in 1999. In 2001, Mr. McKee began managing assets for clients using proprietary technical tools developed by some of the most respected names in the industry. Using these tools, he has effectively managed millions of dollars in assets, helping clients preserve capital and create wealth. Mr. McKee has served as the President of SCM, Inc., a registered investment advisory company for the last 5 years. He currently holds a series 3,7,63, and 65 securities license.

JAMES F. DALTON – Analyst (Retained)

Jim Dalton is a special advisor to Newport Private Capital LLC. Jim’s past experience includes more than 30 years in trading and selection of investment advisors in securities, options, and commodities. Most recently he was director of research for managed accounts at UBS Financial Services. Mr. Dalton’s expertise is both wide and deep. He applies a holistic, top down approach to understanding market dynamics and trends and has done groundbreaking work with the Market Profile. Mr. Dalton provides daily analysis to Newport Private Capital LLC concerning futures contracts on the S&P 500, Oil, Gold, US Dollar, and US Bonds. Mr. Hansen and Mr. Dalton communicate regularly during the trading day to strategize on market dynamics and structure. In addition to writing several books on trading, he sponsored Pete Steidlmayer’s original work Markets and Market Logic. Jim was Executive VP of the Chicago Board Options Exchange during its formative years.
